Family of fourteen...

Last Saturday, I drove South to photograph a family of fourteen (the largest family that I have photographed yet!). This family is the family of an old high school friend and they have always been so warm and welcoming! Saturday was not exception!

We had a fun time getting these shots and they even obliged me when I brought in a couple of little props to incorporate into some of their images. I had some inspiration while looking through my new Farm Chicks cookbook earlier in the week and while thinking about how to bring in some creativity into this shoot (funny how inspiration can come in most any form). I have a friend who makes the most beautiful vintage inspired aprons and I knew that this family was hosting a family gathering with all the food and fixins after their family portraits, so I thought a cute apron and the red pop of fresh strawberries might do the trick! Thank you L family for trusting me, even though you may have wondered what the crazy photographer lady was doing with a bowl full of strawberries!=)))

And, hope you enjoy your sneak peek too! There are many many more to come=)

**And, remember to show this family some blog love. They get a FREE 5x7 with their print order if they receive 10 comments!
