Mr. Man...

On Sunday, I drove out to Seattle to meet some friends at the University of Washington. I cannot believe that I have never been on campus when the beautiful cherry blossoms have been in bloom! It was a treat!

I have heard that it gets quite busy there... We did see some other photographers, and at one point, a swarm of folks walked by, but for the most part, the grounds were fairly empty, considering. And the light! The glorious light! We had some amazing diffused light shining over the tops of the old buildings as well, which made my job that much easier!

You may remember little Michael, at 6 months... well, he has grown a ton and he was ALL over the place! It was quite the adventure keeping up with him. He enjoyed his snacks, being chased, and the good ol tune of "Old McDonald"!

I am in love with these images... Michael's wispy hair, his proud parent's smiles, and of course, the background speaks for itself! I don't think Lisa could have picked a better place!

It is on my to do list to visit the cherry blossoms in the future! They bloom mid-March/early April every year, so if you haven't had a chance to see these beauties, it is a Seattle must! And, if you want a photographer to come along to take your portraits, I am your woman!

My personal favorite...
