Beautiful boy...

I had the privilege of photographing my dear friend Lisa and family on Sunday morning in Snoqualmie. Lisa is an old teacher friend of mine back when I taught at Carnation Elementary, before I had my own baby! She and her husband, Jim, just welcomed their first child earlier this year, so when she called me back in the Spring to book, I was really excited! What a beautiful family!!! Michael is 6 months old and I loved capturing his smiles and cute expressions! Even after getting over a cold earlier this week... he was a trooper! I appreciated Lisa's creativity when she emailed me a few days ago to confirm what they would be wearing and her ideas of where to shoot (that is the WONDERFUL organized teacher in her). She chose a perfect backdrop... the golf course green and a pretty little field nearby. We even got their dog in on some of the action and I love that, since dogs are definitely a part of the family!
