Our sweet sweet Beauty...

We welcomed Gracelynn Ella Harper last Thursday, Oct. 8th at 12:06pm into the world. I had a beautiful labor and delivery and was grateful that I was able to do it all naturally! It was a tough haul but SO worth it for me in the end when I got to hold my little Grace. She came in weighing 6 lbs. 4 oz. and 19 1/4 in. in length.

We have had a great week with her, although big brother Ben has been sick. It has been so nice to have Jeff off to help and my mom will be coming up tomorrow to continue to help me out, as Jeff heads back to work then. Grace has been such a mellow baby (so far!), hardly crying with few demands!

Of course, I have a ton of "newbie" ideas I wanted to try out with her in front of my camera, so we have been having fun this week putting her into little poses and getting her all naked (i believe the best way to shoot a newborn is in the buff)!

This morning, I ventured over to my dear friend, Michelle's in home photography studio, here in town and we had even more fun! Stay tuned for those pics!
