Wedding...

Saturday was a perfect day for a wedding! Blue overcast skies, nice temps, and diffused lighting... the perfect storm for a natural light photographer! And, a dream day for a beautiful bride and groom!

I have to admit I was a tad nervous for this shoot, as this was the first wedding I have ever photographed... but, it went very smoothly and we were all pleased to be able to be outside to do most of the portraits.

Congratulations Kim and Rich! Many blessings to you in the new adventure ahead of you!

A Spring Wedding...

I had the opportunity to photograph the sweetest couple on Saturday for their wedding portraits. The weather was perfect for many outside shots at their beautiful home. Nice filtered light with the clouds and it wasn't FREEZING and RAINING, as it often is here in the Pacific NW. I got SO many GREAT shots of the two of them. The bride was stunning in her gown and the groom... very dapper!

Guy and Dayna, I hope you enjoy your sneak peak=) I'm excited to finish up the rest! And, I wish you many many happy years together! Congratulations!

And, they lived happily ever after...

Wedding...

Today, I got to tag along with my friend Michelle and her husband Jerry while they photogaphed a wedding. Michelle is an AMAZING photographer in the area and I have been learning SO much from her! Props to my gal...=) www.michellenewellphotography.com. I am lucky to have her as my friend AND mentor. She has helped me grow in my photography in many many ways... Anyway, I shot a few object shots at the wedding, just for kicks.
