10 years...

Ten years ago today I was nervously walking down the aisle to a handsome man smiling just at me. I couldn't believe how lucky I was to nab Jeff Harper as mine back in the day! Thinking back, we were so young and naive, but ready to conquer our little piece of the world... together. Now, 10 years, a mortgage, a dog, and two kids later, we joke that that we aren't "spring chickens" anymore. Yet, somehow, I think we are still those two crazy kids {and probably will be 50 years from now}. I cannot think of any other person whom I laugh with more! For two people who can't sing, our house is sure filled with music, dance, and laughter... We joke if someone was a fly on the wall at our kitchen table, what they would hear!

At times, our marriage certainly hasn't been the easiest of waters to navigate through together, as I am sure every married couple can agree. But, man has it been real and raw. And, I wouldn't have it any other way. I thank Jesus for being right there with us.

Jeff, you are such a GREAT Dad to our children and bestest friend to me! Life is so much more delish with you around! Thank you for sharing it all with me. The sweet stuff and the muck. Till death do us part. Here's to another 50+ more together!
