Been awhile...

Here is a little sneak peak for my dear friend, Krissy, and her beautiful family. This was a session that had originally been planned for earlier in January, but due to sickness, we had to reschedule. And, with rescheduling, came finding the right weather in the dead of winter for outside photos.

I have always wanted to try shooting at the Country Village in Bothell, so we headed over this past weekend. It was pretty chilly, but the kiddos braved the air and put their smiles on! This family blows me away with the strength they possess and the beautiful bond they have together. I hope they enjoy these pictures! It was a pleasure getting to do this with/for them!

On a totally different note... I thought I would post a little buisness update. I am foreseeing some busy months ahead for me. Busy, meaning, prepping for an official photography buisness launch by early Spring, if all goes as planned. Jeff and I have talked about this in great detail over the past several months, and we have come to the conclusion that I should GO for it.

Currently, I am still in portfolio building mode and have some shoots lined up in the coming months to continue to buff up my skills and portfolio. But, I will also begin work on an official website along with some marketing tools to have ready for the Spring! This is exciting for me, but also a tad scary. As with anything in life that you walk out on the ledge for. I'll keep you posted!=)
